We can finally declare the snow drought officially over! After a record breaking amount of time (almost one solid year) without measurable snow in NYC, New Jersey, and surrounding areas, we finally got our real snow. Central Park received almost 2 inches, and the Bronx and parts of northern New Jersey received well over 5 inches! We parents of littles love sharing the magical experience of snow with the kiddos. These photos were taken a few years ago in Long Island City, but they feel appropriate to bring up today. We loved this girl’s quirky outfit and the fact that she had to load her loveys into her sled to go down the hill with her!
